Notes, Commentary: 
This is a fairly heavyweight cast-aluminum representation of a 12-8-8 signal, vaguely resembling a modern era Econolite, mounted on a post and base.  On the back it has the name of the manufacturer molded in.  The signal is around 8" high and has been used, with modified molds for other promotional uses.  This same style has also been engraved and given away by a Traffic Organization, though the name escapes us at the moment  (IMCA?).

ECI is a manufacturer of, among other things, traffic signal hardware.  They make the large arms used to assemble doghouse signals and other hanging devices.
