Fox Sheriff and Traffic Cactus Light Toys

Notes, Commentary: 
A cute toy from across the pond, it is an English toy set imitating the American west.  A fox serve as the dapper Sheriff of the town, while (what else) but a lonely cactus holds up the traffic light to keep traffic moseying along.  The fox is cast as one piece and painted intricately, while oddly, the cacti is hollow and snaps apart.

Possibly this was a tie-in to a cartoon show or a cereal box giveaway or similar.  It's origins are really unknown and there is no discernable copyright or similar stamping except for "MPG".
